EPI Chosen as Evaluator of Wilmington College Title III Program


VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, September 15, 2017 — The Educational Policy Institute was chosen to conduct the five-year evaluation of the Wilmington College Title III program. The Ohio public college received a five-year, $1.9 million grant from the US Department of Education through their Higher Education programs.

The plan for Wilmington College is to implement a program that will “Improve the viability of the College through stable enrollment, supported by infrastructure and a culture of assessment that creates a more effective and comprehensive
student success model.”

In addition to annual site visits, the Educational Policy institute will review data and materials from Wilmington College in order to measure whether the college is able to meet the implementation schedule and staff and student outcomes for the grant.

While these outcomes are a few years away, it seems that the college is on good ground as it
works toward meeting these expectations.

The Educational Policy Institute, an expert in student retention and intervention evaluation, will work with Wilmington College to help them determine the efficacy, fidelity of implementation, and impact of their Title V grant.
