Career and Technical Education (CTE) students who earn at least two credits in certain CTE subject areas are considered “CTE Concentrators.” Today’s EPIGraph compares the matriculation rates of high school graduates to college by CTE status. According to data from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), concentrators are less likely to enroll in postsecondary studies than non-concentrators. Still, almost three-quarters of CTE concentrators attend a postsecondary institution within three years of high school graduation.
